Can I use voisins du zero in American roulette?

Last updated: 05.04.2024 by Andrew Shepard

"Voisins du zero" is a French term that translates to "neighbors of zero" and is used to refer to a specific group of numbers on a roulette wheel that includes the 17 numbers surrounding the green zero pocket. This bet is commonly found in European roulette, but it can also be played in American roulette.

In American roulette, there are two green pockets, a single zero (0) and a double zero (00), and the numbers are arranged differently than in European roulette. While the voisins du zero bet is still possible in American roulette, the numbers that it covers will be different. The voisins du zero bet in American roulette would include the 22 numbers around the zero and double zero pockets on the wheel, from 22 to 25, including 0, 00, 2, 3, and 4.

The only obstacle is that as a rule American roulette does not have a racetrack, so betting on voisins zu zero is only possible on the table.
