Can I remove chips from the roulette table?

Last updated: 05.04.2024 by Andrew Shepard

Once you've placed your chips on the roulette table, it's generally not allowed to remove them until the round is over and the outcome of the spin has been determined.

Removing chips from the table before the round is over is considered bad etiquette and can disrupt the flow of the game. It's important to wait until the dealer has called "no more bets" and the ball has come to a stop before removing your chips.

There are some rare instances where a dealer may allow you to remove chips from the table after placing them, such as if you accidentally placed a bet on the wrong number or if there was a technical issue with the game. However, this is at the dealer's discretion and is not a standard practice.

However, removing chips from the table in online roulette is a common practice. If you have put the wrong combination, you can press “Undo” or “Clear Bets”. But this can be done only before the bets are accepted.
